What services does clipping24 offer?

Color corrections

We adjust the colors of your images or of a specific image section. This includes the optimisation of the contrast, sharpness and brightness as well as the reduction of color faults. Of course, we will make sure all details and color nuances remain intact.

Retouching

Do your images have nasty spots and scratches, or do you not like the overall look of entire image parts? We manually adjust and improve the image in question using a variety of tools in Adobe Photoshop.

Vectorisation

Do you have an existing image file or a scanned drawing that you would prefer as a vector graphic? We create vector graphics of logos, product sketches and exploded view drawings in Adobe Illustrator. By way of conversion from pixel image to vector graphic, the image dimensions may be increased or reduced without loss of quality.

Clipping Path

The clipping path isolates certain objects within images, or whole parts of images, from their surroundings. This “extraction” technique allows for the placing of objects in a new surrounding or in front of a new background. Elements to be extracted are manually traced using the Photoshop pencil. This ensures a high quality, precision and natural appearing lines.

Masking

Would you like to edit specific parts of your images or correct the colors within these parts? We manually create pixel-accurate masks that will make your follow-up work easier.

Where and how are the images edited?

All services are carried out under German supervision in Thailand. Our on-site employees are trained according to German standards, and all projects undergo final inspection by the clipping24 team in Germany. All image editing is performed manually in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

How does clipping24.com work anyway?

After being personally registered for our system by a clipping24 staff member, you first send us a sample image.

Then, following an individual estimation of the amount of work to be expected for your sample image, we immediately make you a customized offer for the entire order. After this, you create a new “job” using the clipping24 software, upload your images to our server and download them upon completion of the edits. It’s that simple!

How can I register?

How do I install the clipping24 software?

Having registered with us, you will be able to download the clipping24 software through a link in the confirmation e-mail or directly from our website. The clipping24 software may be installed on all commonly used Windows and Macintosh systems.

How do I create a new “Job”?

After starting the clipping24 software, you will see the “New” button in the top left corner. Clicking on this button will open a new order window. You may now enter your personal project title in the field labelled “Job” (e.g., Extraction winter catalogue 09).

At this point, please select the desired type of editing (extraction, masks, vectorisation, color corrections or retouching), indicate the number of images to be edited and provide possible additional editing requirements in the “JobInfo” field.

You will subsequently need to click on the “Save” button in order to create your “Job” in our system and to complete your order. After saving your order, an automatic “Job-No” will have been added to the “Job” field. Your order may now always be identified through this “Job-No”.

Saving your order will make available for use, or activate, the bottom of the order window. At this point, you may simply create new folders into which to drag/drop your images. This will automatically copy the data to our server and thus complete the data transfer.

Your next step will be to click on “Order” and to specify your preferred delivery date.

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you as soon as we have received your order.

Which file formats are acceptable for clipping24?

You may choose to send us your images in any filesize and in any commonly used file format. Should there ever be problems with certain formats, we will, of course, contact you immediately.

What will happen to the data?

Through the clipping24 software, your image data will be copied into your orders folder on our data server. Throughout the entire editing process, your images will remain in this private area. Upon completion of the order, your images will be moved to a folder named “Ready”, where they will be available to you for download within the next 14 days.

How long until my images will be returned to me?

For standard orders, your images will be returned to you within 24 hours. Express orders are ready for delivery no later than one hour after placement (depending on the size of the order).

How can I pick up my images?

As soon as we have completed your order, you will receive an e-mail containing a link. This link will lead you straight to your images.

What means of payment are there?

You may choose to conveniently pay via direct debit or on receipt of invoice. Depending on the size of your order, individual payment terms will be agreed upon.

What if a rare error does occur?

If an error should ever occur during the processing of your order, of course you may contact us anytime. As a rule, you will never have to expect any additional charges for the correction of such errors. We demand from ourselves nothing but the highest quality, and we welcome your suggestions and questions – as well as your criticism.
